Danfoss has announced the upcoming launch of the AK-CC25, a new controller designed for plug-in and remote TXV refrigerated display cases. The AK-CC25 aims to provide flexible application support, integrated Bluetooth connectivity, and system monitoring features to enhance energy efficiency and food safety.
The AK-CC25 supports multiple use cases with one controller variant, including MT/LT switch mode, dual compressor, and dual circuit configurations. It offers fully flexible I/O and compatibility with a wide range of sensor types. The unit is approved for use with flammable A3 refrigerants such as R290, as well as A2L refrigerants, helping reduce product complexity and service stock requirements.
The controller is equipped with a modern interface and Bluetooth connectivity, enabling integration with ADAP-KOOL tools such as the AK-CC Connect app, KoolProg, and KoolKey. According to Danfoss, this design is intended to simplify setup, commissioning, and ongoing monitoring.
To support optimized performance, the AK-CC25 enables modulating temperature regulation and works with variable speed compressors. Additional features include system and performance monitoring, as well as compressor and condenser safety controls.
The unit includes HACCP-compliant capabilities and diagnostics developed from over three decades of ADAP-KOOL experience.
No release date has been announced for the AK-CC25.
