Enex Technologies Launches Flat Dry Coolers D-Series for Energy-Efficient Applications

New EC fan motors and optimized coil design deliver up to 30% energy savings.

Enex Technologies has introduced its new Flat Dry Coolers D-Series, engineered and manufactured entirely in Europe. Designed for HVAC, IT cooling, and energy and process cooling applications, the new units offer improved energy efficiency, flexibility, and reliability. According to the company, the D-Series can deliver up to 30% energy savings compared to conventional AC fan systems.

The new series features next-generation electronically commutated (EC) fan motors for adaptive airflow control and reduced energy consumption. A staggered copper tube and corrugated fin coil configuration enhances heat transfer efficiency. The D-Series also supports extensive customization, with multiple configurations and optional components tailored to specific project requirements.

Durability is reinforced by anti-corrosion treatments and nitrogen pressurization, while safety is ensured through resistance and leak testing up to 40 bar (580 psi) and burst testing up to 90 bar (1,305 psi). The system has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 0, aligning with decarbonization goals and sustainability initiatives.

Additional features include the Floating Pack System, which reduces leak risks by allowing the coil to levitate slightly within the casing. An anti-bypass internal airflow architecture improves cooling performance, and elevated legs simplify handling and installation. Optional components include stainless steel casings, adiabatic spray systems, silent blocks, and centralized electrical boxes.

“Our new Flat Dry Coolers D-Series exemplifies our commitment to providing innovative solutions that balance high performance with environmental sustainability,” said Max Sfragara, Product Management Director at Enex Technologies. “These dry coolers not only deliver significant energy savings but also empower our clients to meet their operational goals while reducing their carbon footprint.”

François Audo, CEO of Enex Technologies, added that the launch marks a step in the company’s roadmap to deliver one new product every month. “Enex Technologies Flat Dry Coolers are the latest milestone in a long-term vision to transform the cooling industry through innovation, flexibility, and sustainability,” he said. “Many more innovations are on the horizon, including further advancements in HVAC, Refrigeration and Heat Exchanger solutions.”
