Fairland introduces COP 7.0 AI heat pump with solar-ready integration

Fairland has launched the AI R290 ATW Heat Pump, which the company claims is the first air-to-water model on the market to achieve a COP (Coefficient of Performance) of 7.0. Designed for residential heating and hot water, the system integrates AI-powered control, solar energy compatibility, and remote management features.

According to Fairland, the high COP rating is enabled by a proprietary AI inverter, innovative structural design, and a liquid cooling system that reuses the heat from the drive board. The company states that the dual A+++ performance delivers around 40% higher energy efficiency compared to average systems.

The heat pump operates with R290 refrigerant and is equipped with an intelligent control system that manages all components to ensure safe and efficient operation. Fairland’s AI inverter reportedly sets a new industry benchmark by coordinating performance to reach the stated COP 7.0.

Fairland also highlights the unit’s solar integration capabilities. The R290 ATW Heat Pump can be connected to a solar storage system, allowing it to use solar-generated energy with what the company describes as “100% compatibility and fully-shared data.” This setup is designed to maintain indoor comfort using nearly free power throughout the day.

For remote operation and diagnostics, the heat pump includes a built-in AIoT service platform. Homeowners benefit from continuous virtual monitoring, while distributors and installers can access real-time data, remote controls, OTA updates, and system alerts through an open IoT interface.
