Fujitsu General announced the development of its new-generation Wearable Air Conditioner, offering significant cooling within seconds. Pre-orders for this innovative cooler begin today, with the official release slated for spring 2025.
More compact than its predecessor, the new model cools up to 20°C below ambient air temperature. The re-designed neck cooler boasts an integrated tubeless design, eliminating the need for a waist-worn heat exchanger. This streamlined version is convenient, putting on in just 10 seconds, making it ideal for sectors like construction and logistics.
The device uses a Peltier element to deliver professional-grade cooling. It effectively manages heat even beyond 40°C, enhancing comfort in demanding conditions. Since 2021, over 500 companies in Japan have adopted this technology for hot industrial workplaces.
Fujitsu General's new vision, "Creating a Life Conditioner," underscores its commitment to comfort and environmental health. The company aims to tackle climate change challenges, allowing individuals to work comfortably in increasingly hot conditions.
