CoolKit has delivered the first Renault Master Refrigerated Box Body Vehicle to Renault Trucks, as part of their ‘Ready For Business’ range.

An innovative high impact ultra-light GRP, laminated to high density RTM Styrofoam insulation under vacuum pressure was utilised to create the vehicle body panels. Reinforcements were situated within the panel construction to ensure the robustness required by the customer and powder coated white aluminium capping were bonded and sealed to the vehicle body edges with corner capping at the front, to create a high-end finish to the vehicle.
The rear of the vehicle features double rear doors complete with retainers and lockable handles as well as internal release. A grab handle was also specified within the design of the box, to allow easier entry and exiting of the vehicle, together with a lightweight rear safety step and parking distance sensors. The interior of the box was fitted with the Fit-And-Forget LED lighting, together with LED side and rear marker lights on the outside of the box to meet current legislations when driving a box van.
The finished product created enviable internal dimensions of 3.10m in length, by 1.99m height and 1.80m wide, with a payload of 1156Kg (inclusive of 90% fuel and driver at 75Kg).
