Modine has introduced the DSU destratification fan, designed to address air stratification in industrial and commercial environments. The unit supports year-round air movement, helping redistribute heat in colder months and enhance ventilation in warmer seasons for spaces such as warehouses and manufacturing facilities.
The DSU features a high-efficiency EC motor with continuous speed control, delivering an axial airflow of 6,500 CFM. Despite its performance, the fan operates at a maximum of 71 dBA, minimizing disruption in occupied spaces. Its construction includes 18-gauge steel for durability in demanding environments.
Additional functionalities include zoning control through a single controller for up to 10 units, compact size options for installation flexibility, and mounting options via chain suspension or rod mounts.
“Consistent circulation promotes a safer, healthier and more welcoming environment, ensuring productivity in industrial and commercial settings,” said Richard Boothman, director of North American sales for Modine. “We designed the DSU with these goals in mind, while also engineering it for flexibility, ease of use and minimal disruption.”
