MTH has introduced NOVA, a new series of plug-in monoblocks for cold rooms, offering enhanced energy efficiency, simplified installation, and advanced digital features. The product was presented for the first time during HostMilano 2025.
NOVA units are designed for both medium (+10°C / -5°C) and low (-15°C / -25°C) temperature applications and are available in three sizes. They operate with a natural refrigerant with low environmental impact, compliant with F-Gas regulations. Suitable for cold room panels with thicknesses from 60 to 150 mm, the compact monoblocks can be installed even on 400 mm wide panels. Maintenance is simplified through a redesigned internal component layout and a single-sheet external casing.
The new line features hermetic reciprocating compressors and next-generation electronic motor fans, contributing to reduced energy consumption and higher cooling capacity. High-efficiency heat exchangers with small-diameter copper pipes and cataphoresis-coated evaporator coils ensure strong performance and corrosion resistance, while keeping the propane charge below 150 g per circuit.
Technical upgrades include a thermostatic valve for improved adaptation to varying climate conditions, a high-pressure safety switch, and a condensate management system that enhances evaporation and limits humidity transfer between compartments, reducing ice formation.
NOVA also introduces a new controller with an enlarged display and optional Wi-Fi module, allowing remote management via an online portal. Users can monitor and control multiple devices from a single account, enabling centralised and precise system supervision.
