New model offers 8 CFM capacity, Bluetooth integration, and automated evacuation.
NAVAC has introduced the NP8DSV Smart Vacuum Pump, described as the world’s first vacuum pump to include an oil health test function. Targeted at professional HVAC technicians, the unit is designed to improve evacuation performance while reducing routine maintenance and operational costs.
The NP8DSV features an 8 CFM dual-stage motor and achieves a 15-micron ultimate vacuum. It pairs with the NMV1S Bluetooth vacuum gauge to display real-time system vacuum data directly on the pump and through the myNAVAC mobile app. The system includes automated evacuation, preset vacuum targets, decay testing, and a built-in solenoid valve to preserve vacuum, enabling set-and-forget operation.
The integrated oil health test function allows technicians to assess oil condition with a single click, offering a measurable alternative to traditional oil change practices. Instead of relying on routine replacement or visual checks, users can now determine oil condition more accurately, which extends oil life, reduces waste, and improves pump efficiency.
NAVAC also offers an NP8DS model without Bluetooth capability or a vacuum gauge.
“The NP8DSV Smart Vacuum Pump represents NAVAC’s ongoing commitment to innovation and user-centric design,” said Keith Keller, Vice President of Sales for NAVAC HVAC at NAVAC. “By integrating smart technology with high-performance capabilities, we are delivering an essential tool that streamlines evacuation processes and enhances service efficiency for HVAC technicians.”
