New Larger Marley MD Everest Cooling Tower Models

SPX Cooling Technologies announces new, larger models of the Marley MD Everest counterflow cooling tower are now available. The Marley MD Everest Cooling Tower is designed to address today’s demands for large HVAC systems and is suitable for a wide range of applications, delivering almost three times more cooling capacity compared with other preassembled counterflow towers. At 3790 tons, the MD Everest Cooling Tower is an ideal one-to-one match for large chiller systems. The tower can be adapted to varying water quality using a range of fill types. The MD Everest Tower achieves a low drift rate, down to 0.0005 percent of circulating water flow, so less water escapes the tower.

The MD Everest Cooling Tower offers significant advantages compared with other factory-assembled counterflow towers, including unmatched cooling capacity, energy efficiency, fewer components and lower maintenance costs. To facilitate faster installation and safer assembly processes, the MD Everest Cooling Tower arrives at the site in modules that are pre-constructed in a controlled factory environment.

The MD Everest Cooling Tower’s robust structure meets seismic and wind load requirements per ASCE and IBC building codes. Reliable Marley mechanical components include a five-year maintenance-free System 5 Marley Geareducer gear drive; energy-efficient, low-clog PVC heat exchange fill media; and Motor Outside Airstream (MOA), standard. The MD Everest Tower also includes a five-year mechanical component warranty.

Thermal performance of the MD Everest Cooling Tower is certified by the Cooling Technology Institute (CTI), eliminating the need and expense for on-site testing.
