Form meets function in the latest refrigerant recovery unit from market leader Promax, which replaces the company’s highly acclaimed RG5000. The distinctive shape of the RG5410A’s ergonomically designed, corrosion-proof, rugged polyethylene casing immediately establishes a family connection with its smaller brother, the MiniMax.
Introducing the RG5410A, Barry Wilson of UK distributor Advanced Engineering said: “The new-look machine is both stylish and practical, with a low weight and compact dimensions which will ensure easy handling for service engineers when gaining entry to inaccessible work locations.”
Under its skin, the RG5410A houses all the technical features which engineers have come to expect from Promax… which means it offers non-stop performance whatever the application.
It can recover all commonly used CFC, HFC and HCFC refrigerants, including R410-A, and is designed for use with both conventional and high pressure refrigerants. Like its predecessor, it employs the legendary Promax oil-less compressor which recovers both liquid and vapour.
A 3/8” 3-row condenser maximises performance, even in the most hostile conditions, while the semi-hermetic compressor can be serviced easily in the field. Also incorporated is the ability to push-pull, pre-cool, subä-cool and self-evacuate (down to 29 inches).
Summarising the new product, Barry Wilson of Advanced Engineering said: “The RG5410A maintains the standard set by Promax. It is easy to handle, gives great performance, recovers both liquid and vapour, is extremely robust and offers high levels of safety. In short, it is a machine that any service engineer would be pleased to have in the back of the van.”
