Sanhua has introduced seven new brazed plate heat exchanger (BPHE) models and updated its Explorer selection software to support a broader range of HVAC and refrigeration applications. The additions cover uses in chillers, heat pumps, boilers, and data center cooling.
The new S6C model offers a compact design and improved heat transfer performance, suited for small-capacity heat pumps, air heaters, and economizers in variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems. The B12 model targets boiler systems, with a double fishbone plate design and a heat transfer capacity of up to 80 kW (approx. 273,000 BTU/h).
The S20D model is a versatile option for chillers and heat pumps, functioning as an evaporator, condenser, economizer, or desuperheater. It is compatible with R290 refrigerant and features laser-welded connections. The S65A, also suitable for R290 applications, offers a capacity range of 10 to 90 kW (approx. 34,100–307,000 BTU/h) and features a double asymmetric plate structure aimed at reducing refrigerant charge.
For economizer applications in modular units and screw compressors, the S114A provides heat transfer capacities from 30 to 200 kW (approx. 102,000–682,000 BTU/h). It is also designed for data center cooling. The S120 and S200 models are engineered for water-to-water or water-to-ethylene glycol heat exchange in data centers, offering capacities of 30–400 kW (approx. 102,000–1,364,000 BTU/h) and 80–600 kW (approx. 273,000–2,047,000 BTU/h), respectively.
All new models comply with key regional certifications, including PED (EU), UKCA (UK), and UL (US).
