The maintenance of the refrigeration facilities is essential to guarantee an energy efficient operation and the safety of the same. For this reason, AEFYT presents its first online course on Maintenance of Refrigeration Installations, which will take place through its virtual training platform between December 10 and 22, 2020, in four sessions of 16 teaching hours.
The program is divided into five thematic blocks that cover the fundamentals of refrigeration, the basic operations of maintenance of facilities, the use of oils and treatment of polluting elements; energy efficiency and monitoring of facilities; and, lastly, the regulations –with recommendations to comply with the new Safety Regulations for Refrigerating Installations- and the necessary documentation to update the maintenance of the equipment.
The course is aimed at a wide spectrum of professionals in the refrigeration sector, such as design engineers of refrigeration facilities; heads of engineering; qualified refrigeration installers; responsible for maintenance and responsible for safety of refrigeration facilities in multipurpose cold stores, ice factories, dairy plants and dairy industries, etc .; Refrigerators, mechanics and technicians with refrigeration knowledge who, working in commercial refrigeration, want to make the leap to industrial facilities.
"The importance of properly maintaining refrigeration facilities is today more relevant than ever before the cold sector's commitment to energy efficiency and equipment safety. For this reason, we hope that this first online course will have a great impact as it also deals with current issues such as the recent reform of the RSIF ”, said Manuel Lamúa, AEFYT manager and course director.
The course will be taught by Juan Rodríguez, industrial technical engineer from the UPC EUETIB Escola Universitaria d´Enginyeria Técnica Industrial de Barcelona, professor of Professional Training and technical director at Jonhson Controls; and by Félix Sanz, industrial engineer, tenured professor of technology, technical director of refrigeration and air conditioning and associate to the management of AEFYT.
