The ASERCOM Convention 2026 will take place on 23 January in Brussels, focusing on the evolving global landscape of refrigeration and cooling. The event, themed “The Cooling Continuum – Europe and the World in Transition,” will bring together experts and policymakers to examine how regulation, innovation, and standardisation are shaping the industry across Europe, the US, and China.
The programme features keynote addresses from Arno Kaschl of DG CLIMA on the EU F-Gas revision, Stephen Yurek from AHRI with a North American policy perspective, and Professor WANG Baolong of Tsinghua University, who will outline China’s approach to refrigerant substitution and national initiatives. Manon Roussel from EPEE will also speak on the ongoing PFAS debate in Europe and its broader implications.
ASERCOM will present updates from its working groups, covering topics such as refrigerants, cybersecurity, European regulatory developments, PFAS policy, and global standardisation efforts.
