ARBS has announced the finalists for its 2026 Awards in Australia, with categories covering products, projects, education initiatives and emerging industry professionals. The program received almost 100 nominations, which ARBS said was the largest submission round in the awards’ history.
The awards are split into two streams. The ARBS Industry Excellence Awards recognise products, projects and education initiatives, while the ARBS Future Leader Awards focus on emerging professionals in the HVAC&R sector.
Among the Industry Excellence finalists are Daikin’s CO2 Hot Water Heat Pump in HVAC Product Excellence, Copeland’s CO2 Scroll Refrigeration Units in Refrigeration Product Excellence, and projects including Queen’s Wharf Integrated Resort in Queensland and Sydney Metro Martin Place in New South Wales. Finalists were also named in education and training, IBTech product and project categories, and minor and major project awards.
Daikin will return as Platinum Partner of the Industry Excellence Awards. The ARBS Foundation will also provide four A$5,000 [about US$3,250] scholarships to Future Leader Award winners to support their professional development.
“The quality and breadth of entries was exceptional, from major infrastructure projects to emerging tradespeople and innovative new technologies,” said ARBS Exhibitions CEO Searle. “It’s a genuine reflection of the talent and ambition that exists right across our industry and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate these finalists at ARBS 2026.”
Winners will be announced during ARBS 2026 in May at the ARBS Industry Excellence Awards Gala Dinner and the ARBS Future Leaders Forum in Melbourne.
