Avnan, a Canada-based electronics engineering and manufacturing partner, will present its Heat Pump Control & Diagnostic Platform at the AHR Expo 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada, from February 2–4. The platform is designed to support OEMs in streamlining development and enhancing the performance, serviceability, and reliability of residential and light commercial heat pump systems.
The solution combines a universal control board with a mobile diagnostics app, providing service technicians with secure, real-time access to system data. This allows for faster commissioning, simplified troubleshooting, and reduced service time. The platform also offers optional BACnet compatibility, enabling integration with Building Management Systems for centralized monitoring.
According to Avnan, the system's embedded diagnostics and continuous monitoring can improve uptime, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance energy efficiency. It is available for OEM integration into new heat pump designs or as an upgrade to existing HVAC control systems.
"The Heat Pump Control & Diagnostic Platform reflects our focus on engineering solutions that scale across product families while improving serviceability in the field," said Allan Read, Chief Operations Officer at Avnan.
Live demonstrations will be held at Booth C545, with a product showcase scheduled for February 3 at 5:15 pm in Theatre C.
