BAC to Present Immersion and Hybrid Cooling Systems at 2026 AHR Expo

Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc. (BAC) will showcase its latest sustainable cooling technologies at the 2026 AHR Expo, taking place at booth C4507. The company will present solutions designed for comfort and process cooling, refrigeration, and data center applications. BAC's immersion cooling tank, powered by CorTex technology, has been named a finalist in the Cooling category of the AHR Expo Innovation Awards.

Among the featured products is the Nexus modular hybrid cooler, equipped with the PuriStream water treatment system and touchscreen controls that automatically balance water and energy use. Designed for HVAC and light industrial applications, the Nexus cooler offers a compact footprint for urban or indoor installations and supports hybrid, evaporative, and dry cooling modes to meet energy code and sustainability targets.

BAC will also highlight its COBALT immersion cooling system for data centers. This integrated architecture combines indoor immersion cooling with outdoor evaporative, hybrid, adiabatic, and dry systems. It is engineered to support high-density servers and reduce emissions in operations driven by AI and other compute-intensive workloads.

The company’s upgraded immersion cooling tank, also an Innovation Awards finalist, is designed for high-performance data centers. The system uses CorTex technology to achieve Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) as low as 1.05 and is available in multiple rack unit sizes. It features a leak-free design, multiple pumps for redundancy, and a sealed, filter-free setup to minimize maintenance. The system uses dielectric fluid for heat transfer and supports water or water-glycol mixtures externally. It is certified under the Intel Data Center Certified Solution for Immersion Cooling for fourth and fifth-generation Xeon processors.

To support transition planning, BAC provides an Immersion Cooling Impact calculator to estimate potential energy, PUE, and emissions benefits when switching from air-cooled systems to immersion cooling.

BAC will also feature its aftermarket parts offering, emphasizing product longevity, performance, and support services.
