Bacharach Webinar shines a light on EPA Section 608 Compliance and Proposed Changes

Bacharach is providing a timely webinar explaining the Environment Protection Agency’s Section 608 (EPA 608) of the Clean Air Act following recent changes and proposals in the United States. The webinar, “What is EPA Section 608 and what do I need to know?” examines what you need to know for EPA 608 compliance including:

  • What refrigerants are covered by the Clean Air Act Section 608

  • What the requirements are for HVAC technicians

  • Refrigerant sales requirements for technicians and wholesalers

  • Requirements for equipment owners

  • Trigger rates, leak repair and leak inspections

  • Tools for equipment owners and contractors

  • What the 2020 AIM Act means

The webinar also looks at the recent proposals for change in legislation and how this could affect your refrigeration reporting requirements. If you’re an HVAC Technician, or a refrigeration equipment owner or operator, this webinar is for you.

The webinar will be presented by Jason Ayres, Connected Solutions Manager at Bacharach. Jason has over 25 years of experience helping refrigeration system owners and contractors identify leaks and reduce energy consumption. He has worked closely across a number of industries including supermarkets, food manufacturers and processors and logistics in the UK and the US. His valuable work has supported organizations and enterprises drive down their refrigerant emissions, whereby improving cost-effectiveness through reduced refrigerant loss, improved refrigeration equipment performance, and reducing environmental impact.

The live webinar will take place on Thursday May 27th at 11:30 EST and will be recorded for viewers unable to make that date. Register now on the Bacharach website.
