Brazil’s Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change, UNDP and GIZ have launched an international procurement process to buy components, equipment, tools and consumables for refrigeration and air conditioning training programs under the Brazilian HCFC Phase-Out Management Plan. The tender focuses on good-practice training aimed at improving HCFC containment in the RAC sector.
The procurement is being conducted through an Invitation to Bid managed by UNDP Brazil’s Common Back Office under reference number UNDP-BRA-01099. The scope covers supply items for refrigeration and air conditioning systems used in training activities tied to the Montreal Protocol implementation in Brazil.
Interested companies must submit offers through the official supplier portal by May 13, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. New York time and 5:00 p.m. Brasília time. Bidders need an active supplier registration in the system, while companies that are not yet registered can complete the process directly on the portal.
A virtual pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Brasília time. Participation is not mandatory, but the session is intended to support potential bidders with clarifications on the process and requirements.
The procurement supports training programs designed to strengthen good practices in refrigeration and air conditioning service work and improve the handling of HCFC-related systems. Additional clarification requests can be sent to
