Carrier Transicold Showcases the Vector HE 17 at Transpotec Logitec

Carrier Transicold will debut its new temperature-controlled refrigeration unit for semi-trailers, the Vector High Efficiency (HE) 17, at Transpotec Logitec 2024, Italy's leading event for road transport and logistics, from May 8 to 11 at Fiera Milano. This marks the first time the Vector HE 17 will be showcased in Italy.

Expanding Carrier Transicold's Vector HE range, this new unit offers refrigeration capacity output above 16 kW. Utilizing inverter technology combined with proven all-electric E-Drive architecture, the Vector HE 17 offers exceptional total cost of ownership (TCO) and performance in its category, providing superior cooling capacity, up to 30% reduced fuel consumption, and improved noise emissions by 6dB compared to the Vector 1550.

In addition to the Vector HE 17, Carrier Transicold will feature its latest sustainable and electric refrigeration units for trucks and light commercial vehicles at Transpotec Logitec. Visitors to the Carrier Transicold booth can also explore the latest additions to the Lynx Fleet digital platform, which combines equipment data with advanced IoT, machine learning and analytics to strengthen cold chains.

“We are looking forward to showcasing a selection of our latest innovations at Transpotec, as well as our solutions and services, helping our customers to further decarbonize the cold chain”, said Jean-Pascal Vielfaure, Managing Director, Southern Europe, Carrier Transicold. “We are particularly proud to showcase for the first time in Italy the Vector HE 17, offering our customers access to more efficient and sustainable trailer technology”.
