Chillventa 2024: Day Two Highlights Cutting-Edge Innovations and Industry Collaborations

As Chillventa 2024 enters its second day, the energy continues to build with exciting product unveilings, key industry collaborations, and deeper discussions on sustainable solutions for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and heat pumps. Attendees are taking part in a full schedule of forums, live demonstrations, and networking opportunities. The spotlight remains on the latest advancements in refrigerants, energy efficiency, and digital transformation. With over 1,000 exhibitors showcasing their solutions, here’s what some key companies are highlighting on Day Two:

Invertek Drives: Following the launch of their expanded Coolvert range, Invertek Drives is hosting live demonstrations, showcasing the quick and easy setup of their Optidrive Coolvert, which is gaining attention for its simplified installation process that takes under 15 minutes. Invertek’s focus on both safety and efficiency, coupled with an extended five-year warranty, is drawing substantial interest from OEMs looking for reliable, high-performance VFDs.

MSA Safety: MSA Safety continued to attract attention with its connected detection solutions, particularly its Parasense Connected Platform for refrigerant tracking. Today, the company announced new features aimed at improving real-time monitoring capabilities, offering more in-depth data analytics to ensure HVAC-R systems maintain compliance while reducing emissions. Their Bacharach® portable leak detectors are also a major attraction for professionals seeking precise, on-the-go solutions.

Epta: At the Epta booth, visitors are engaging with the company’s innovative digital experiences that showcase their natural refrigerant solutions. Epta's commitment to sustainability through R290 and CO2-based systems has been a recurring theme. Today, they introduced their fourth-generation transcritical CO2 remote cabinets, which are praised for their improved energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact. The company’s modular refrigeration units, such as the new Eco2Compacta power pack, are also receiving attention for their compact design and reliability.

Danfoss: Danfoss brought forward its comprehensive suite of smart refrigeration technologies, focusing on optimizing system performance and reducing environmental impact. Their new range of electronic controllers and variable speed drives offer enhanced automation and monitoring capabilities, making refrigeration systems smarter and more energy-efficient. Visitors are especially impressed by their CO2-based solutions, which align with the growing demand for natural refrigerants.

J&E Hall: Making a big splash on Day Two, J&E Hall introduced their latest low-charge air-cooled ammonia chiller, developed in collaboration with Daikin group companies. This new chiller, designed for a wide range of applications including cold store, process, and comfort cooling, stands out for its outstanding environmental performance. It features a semi-hermetic HallScrew compressor designed specifically for ammonia refrigerant, offering maximum reliability. The chiller’s smart design includes a Cloud-based monitoring system, a compact micro-controller, and a refrigerant-cooled variable-speed drive for enhanced energy efficiency. Attendees were particularly impressed by its low noise level, thanks to the variable speed-controlled fans and an optional acoustic housing. The integrated ammonia leak detection system adds an extra layer of safety, making it an ideal solution for demanding refrigeration needs.

Stay tuned for more updates as exhibitors reveal new technologies and solutions shaping the future of refrigeration and energy management.
