CIBSE’s Hong Kong Region held its 2026 Annual Dinner, bringing together members, colleagues and guests. Attendees included CIBSE CEO Ruth Carter, 2025/2026 President Vince Arnold and Director of Membership Richard Goldsbrough, who met members and reflected on their achievements and the profession’s growth in the region.
Mr TAI Sheung Shing, Victor, JP, Under Secretary for Housing, attended as Guest of Honour on behalf of the Secretary for Housing. CIBSE said his participation highlighted links between the built environment profession and government, as well as a shared commitment to high-performing, sustainable and resilient buildings across Hong Kong.
During the evening, the organisation recognised professional achievements and contributions and used the event to strengthen the local engineering community. CIBSE also thanked the Hong Kong committee and volunteers for planning and supporting the dinner.
According to CIBSE, the event marked the past year’s accomplishments and reinforced collaboration, knowledge sharing and professional excellence across the institution. The organisation said the dinner also reflected the role of an engaged membership in the future of building services engineering.
