CSG and ATF to Host 30 Technical Events at Refrigera 2025 in Italy

Centro Studi Galileo (CSG) and Associazione Tecnici del Freddo (ATF) have announced an extensive technical programme for Refrigera 2025, taking place at BolognaFiere from 5 to 7 November. In addition to the main conference on 6 November, they will offer three days of intensive training sessions at their stand, creating direct engagement opportunities with their partner companies.

As technical partners of the event, CSG and ATF will hold training meetings at their stand (E-32 / F-31) throughout the exhibition and lead the main technical conference scheduled for 6 November at 14:00 in the Kelvin Room. Attendees will have access to presentation slides upon registration.

The conference titled “From F-Gas Regulation to Alternative Refrigerants: Impact on New and Existing Systems” will present the outcomes of the 21st European Conference UNEP–IIR–AREA–CSG. The session will cover the implications of Regulation (EU) 2024/573, upcoming PFAS restrictions, and technology trends in refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating. Experts from academia and industry will present on alternative refrigerants, energy efficiency, and digitalisation.

Speakers include representatives from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, Assocold, CAREL Industries, Bitzer Italia, Frascold, Embraco – Nidec, LU-VE Group, Nippon Gases Industrial, GeneralGas Kryon, A-Gas, Teon, and U-3ARC. The programme will conclude with a roundtable on post-2025 market outlooks, reinforcing CSG’s role in HVACR training and innovation.

From 5 to 7 November, CSG and ATF will also offer free educational sessions on HVACR trends. The 5 November sessions will focus on sustainable refrigeration technologies, including high-temperature compressors, natural and flammable refrigerants, F-Gas certification, EN 378 safety standards, and electronic control systems for food retail.

On 6 November, the programme will highlight regulatory and operational management, including advanced measuring tools, gas recovery and reuse, A3 system commissioning, and F-Gas updates. The final day, 7 November, will feature topics such as HFC retrofit and revamping, digital risk assessment tools, and high-efficiency CO₂ systems.

Speakers across the training sessions include representatives from Frascold, Embraco-Nidec, Bitzer, Nippon Gases Industrial, Castel, CAREL, CSG, Testo, A-Gas, Fieldpiece, ATF, Beijer Ref, Wigam, GeneralGas, and Modine.
