ECOOLTEC Unveils Sustainable Refrigeration Innovations at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024

ECOOLTEC is set to showcase two new flat evaporators and a new remote control tailored for sustainable transport refrigeration systems at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024. Additionally, the company will reveal a newly designed unit housing aimed at enhancing efficiency and cooling performance.

Since its debut at IAA 2022, ECOOLTEC Grosskopf GmbH from Mülheim a. d. Ruhr has distinguished itself as the sole manufacturer of sustainable transport refrigeration units powered by purely electric drives and natural refrigerants. The company's offerings cater to light and heavy commercial vehicles, presenting truly sustainable solutions.

New Flat Evaporators for Enhanced Flexibility

The E1312 dual-discharge flat evaporator, new to the market, measures one-third of a cargo space width, facilitating versatile installation options in multi-temp vehicles. Its design allows for fresh and frozen goods to be transported simultaneously in partitioned vehicles. The evaporator features an optimized design, resulting in greater power, higher cooling capacity, and energy efficiency, while remaining easy to maintain.

In addition, the single-discharge flat evaporator E1221 receives an upgrade, offering space-efficient solutions for both longitudinal and transverse partitions. Both the E1312 and E1221 provide fleets with exceptional flexibility in designing and operating multi-temp compartment vehicles.

Optimized Housing Increases Efficiency

ECOOLTEC's TM182 transport refrigeration system has received a significant upgrade in its housing design. The new front geometry improves air intake, boosting condenser air flow by 20 percent. This results in superior heat transmission, higher energy efficiency, and reduced energy consumption. The redesigned housing also lowers noise emissions and weighs 25 kilograms less, bringing the total weight to 190 kilograms.

Advanced Remote Control for Precision

ECOOLTEC introduces a new standardised remote control with a high-resolution graphic display, developed to meet the specific needs of temperature-controlled transport. The remote can be installed in various locations within the vehicle, providing seamless operation under any conditions, including the freezer compartment. This makes it more convenient for operators to manage the system using five intuitive buttons.
