Eliwell will showcase a range of new control technologies for efficient and sustainable refrigeration during Refrigera 2025, taking place in Bologna, Italy, from 5 to 7 November (Hall 30, Booth B12-C13). The company is also marking its 45th anniversary, highlighting its continued focus on innovation in commercial and industrial refrigeration.
Among the new developments, Eliwell will present the expanded Next family of controllers, including the EWNext 1000 for equipment manufacturers and the IDNext 1000 for installers. These units are designed for high-efficiency refrigerated counters and include functions for variable load management and combined temperature and humidity control.
Also on display is Refrigeration Expert XP in its updated 2.0 version, a compact monitoring system tailored for small retail applications. New features include self-configuration, display management, reusable profiles, and extended connectivity for up to 20 devices. The upgrade adds support for Modbus drivers, new PLCs from Eliwell and other suppliers, access logs that comply with privacy and cybersecurity standards, and the introduction of REST open protocol for integration with IT systems.
In the plug-in segment, Eliwell will launch the Eliwell AIR APP, which enables Bluetooth-supported configuration of cold rooms and refrigerators and facilitates the download of HACCP data for foodservice applications.
The company will also present BE CO₂, a result of its collaboration with Bitzer, combining the Eliwell EWCM PRO controller and the Bitzer IQ module for optimized control of CO₂ compressor racks. This solution is featured in the SICAF INTEGRA rack, on display at the Frigosystem booth.
NSD compact pressure switches, PED certified and compatible with A2L and A3 refrigerants;
EWPA pressure transducers with Packard connectors;
a complete range of PTC, NTC, and Pt1000 temperature probes;
the EWHS284 unit probe, suitable for use with the EWNext 1000 and IDNext 1000 controllers.
Eliwell confirms its participation in sustainability initiatives through partnerships with UCFG – Unione del Caldo e del Freddo Green and Legambiente. At the fair, the company will present a case study involving the Migros Group and its CO₂-compatible control technology as part of the UCFG exhibition on natural refrigerants.
Supporting the next generation of refrigeration professionals, Eliwell is also part of the FRIGORIA training project promoted by the Salesian Institute of Sesto San Giovanni. On November 6 at 12:00, the initiative will be presented at the Assofrigoristi stand.
Eliwell will join the conference “Datacenter: efficienza energetica e continuità operativa per le nuove infrastrutture IT” on November 6 (10:00–12:30, Torricelli room) to discuss refrigeration management for data centers. On November 7 at 12:00, the company will participate in a panel on "Electronics for Refrigeration," addressing system interoperability, open protocols, and cybersecurity.
