Epta at Refrigera 2023

Epta showcases its increasingly complete technical range at the third edition of Refrigera – event dedicated to the entire production chain of industrial commercial and logistics refrigeration – establishing its role as Complete system provider at the service of fridge technicians.

During the event, scheduled from 7 to 9 November at the trade fair district of Bologna, Epta will promote its two sub-brands EptaTechnica and EptaService, highlighting their perfect complementarity, at its exhibition space (Pavilion 30, Stand C12-D12, D13-E13).

This trade fair, the only one in Italy and reference point for Southern Europe and the Mediterranean, is an ideal opportunity for the key players of the cold chain to update themselves and discover the most innovative solutions presented during the many conferences, workshops and training events of the highest level.

EptaTechnica and EptaService, the two souls of Epta, come together under the banner of modularity and performance monitoring. Complementary to each other, they present themselves as tangible expression of the claim “Innovation Reloaded. The Epta Sustainable System”. concept enhances the Epta system as an element of sustainable innovation to steer Clients towards an ecological transition.

EptaTechnica develops System Engineering solutions, namely refrigeration systems and packs which are efficient and ideal for every latitude and with a modular design, to create numerous configurations to customise according to the specific needs of the Retailers.

On show, Eco2Middle, with a flexibility that makes the refrigeration pack suitable for insertion into a wide range application areas and the ETEsubcooler which guarantees an annual reduction of energy consumption of between 15 and 23% and up to 20% less emissions, compared to traditional CO2 systems.

EptaService offers quality services, provided according to the guiding principle of “Great Expertise at Your Service”, guaranteeing full assistance and qualified post-sale consulting and, at the same time, ensuring the greatest sustainability of the refrigeration systems in terms of energy efficiency and emissions. Specifically, the consulting service offered by EptaService presents itself under a new formula, which includes digital services for access to Epta’s Digital Hub and to the LineON advanced diagnostic platforms dedicated to the plug-ins, integral cabinets and cold rooms and SwitchON to remote cabinets and refrigeration packs.

Epta never stops to innovate and dedicates ample space at its stand of Refrigera 2023 to the innovative XTE technology (Extra Transcritical Efficiency), result of the growth mindset of the Group and its contribution to the ENOUGH research programme, of which Epta is among the leading supporters.

With the goal of decarbonising the technologies of mass retailing and making the cold chain climatically neutral and more efficient, Epta has developed a technology which guarantees the efficient operation of a transcritical CO2 system at any latitude, inserting a pressure exchanger appropriately modified for use with CO2 instead of the compressor.

Epta reiterates the central role of the ENOUGH project by hosting a dedicated event in its conference area on the second day of the trade fair, to which several partners will be invited.
