Frascold highlights workforce training for World Refrigeration Day 2025

Frascold is marking World Refrigeration Day 2025 by emphasizing the value of skills development in the HVAC&R sector. This year’s global theme, “Cool Skills,” focuses on the human expertise behind refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump technologies.

The company stated that these technologies are essential in sectors such as vaccine logistics, food preservation, and energy-efficient buildings, but their performance depends on highly specialized personnel. Frascold recognizes the contributions of technicians, engineers, designers, and service operators whose expertise ensures systems operate safely, efficiently, and sustainably.

Frascold also underlined the importance of training in areas such as the use of low-impact refrigerants, predictive diagnostics, regulatory compliance, and interdisciplinary collaboration. According to the company, these competencies are critical for implementing effective and sustainable solutions.

The company supports skill-building through internal training programs, webinars, and educational materials for clients and partners. It collaborates with universities in Italy and abroad, including joint events with the University of Padua’s Department of Industrial Engineering. Frascold also provides regular updates to its Service Centers and shares case studies to promote best practices in the field.

“When a refrigeration system runs perfectly, the cold chain is preserved. When a heat pump is properly designed and installed, heating becomes more efficient and sustainable,” the company stated. “All of this is only possible thanks to the people who apply their Cool Skills every day.”
