From April 17 to 19 Frost-trol presented new lines of research.
Jorge Patiño, Phd and Technical Director of Frost-trol, has presented the development of a new refrigeration cabinet, capable of operating autonomously without electrical connection during certain time slots of the day.
Alejandro Sáez, PhD and Engineer of the R&D 4.0 Department, has developed a mathematical model to validate the characterization of the refrigerant, in order to help design components of refrigeration circuits that are integrated in all furniture, with the title Modeling and Experimental Validation of a CO2 Concentric Tube Evaporator, using heat transfer correlations and flow pattern maps.
And on her part, Lledó Prades, PhD and Coordinator of the Innovation 4.0 R&D Department, has presented her study Effect of Doors Opening in Refrigerated Cabinets: Phenomenological study of the Thermodynamic Behavior and Air Flow Dynamics. A theoretical computational model where the distribution of air flow in a cabinet with sliding doors is analyzed.
