From February 2 to 4, Hitachi Scroll Compressor participated in AHR Expo 2026 in Nevada, marking its second consecutive year at the event. The company highlighted a focused portfolio of scroll compressor solutions supporting energy efficiency and decarbonization targets in the HVACR sector.
At booth #C750, Hitachi Scroll Compressor presented both new and existing scroll compressor models tailored to evolving customer needs. A key highlight was the newly introduced high-efficiency low-side scroll compressor, developed for unitary applications. The product features improved seasonal efficiency, reduced operating noise, and consistent performance under variable load conditions.
The two-stage scroll compressor design is based on the original scroll compressor family developed by Hitachi. It includes an upgraded solenoid valve for two-step capacity control, a newly developed motor for enhanced light-load performance, and high-precision machining for durability. The design meets SEER2 requirements and includes dual compliance for liquid and debris handling.
Hitachi also displayed its high-side scroll compressors for a variety of North American applications, such as heat pump systems, commercial refrigeration, cold storage, and data center cooling. These units operate efficiently in both heating and cooling modes and are compatible with refrigerants like R290, R32, and R454B. They also support enhanced vapor injection technology to improve heating efficiency in colder climates.
“Our continued engagement with the AHR Expo reflects both consistency and strategic focus,” said Wisdom Hao, GM of Guangzhou Bosch Home Comfort Group Compressor Technology Co., Ltd. “North America remains a key strategic region, particularly as it faces tighter performance benchmarks and higher expectations for long-term operational stability.”
