900+ Elite HVAC Contractors Attend Summit in Round Rock, Texas
Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC (METUS) brought together over 900 top-tier contractors for its inaugural Contractor Community Summit 2024 at the Kalahari Resort in Round Rock, Texas, from November 18-19. The event marked the first nationwide gathering for members of the Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Contractor and Ductless Pro programs, who have achieved the prestigious Elite designation.
The summit aimed to recognize the achievements of Elite contractors while fostering collaboration and sharing best practices. “Engaging as an Elite dealer in our contractor programs sets these HVAC professionals up for the best possible success selling Mitsubishi Electric products,” said Brandon Jamerson, Manager of Contractor Programs, Partnerships & Local Marketing at METUS.
To achieve Elite status, contractors complete extensive training, demonstrate significant purchase volumes, participate in marketing initiatives, and utilize METUS sales tools. Benefits of the program include exclusive promotions, marketing and technical support, brand recognition, and warranty services. “Elite contractors represent the best innovators in the industry. They positively impact their communities and value honor and integrity,” Jamerson added.
Themed “Win as One,” the summit featured various activities, including keynote speeches, training sessions, product updates, contractor panels, and a vendor showcase. Attendees also participated in networking opportunities and celebrated their achievements during a dinner and awards ceremony.
John Foley, former lead solo pilot for the Blue Angels and author of Fearless Success, delivered the keynote address. Foley emphasized the importance of a "Glad To Be Here" mindset, which fosters a culture of gratitude, trust, and accountability within teams.
METUS honored several contractors for their outstanding contributions:
Additionally, Jared Herschell of BCA Mechanical (Columbus, Ohio) and Jack Schmidt of Benchmark Service (Irving, Texas) were each awarded a Mitsubishi Electric system for their innovative contributions.
“The 2024 Contractor Community Summit received overwhelmingly positive feedback and was deemed a resounding success,” Jamerson stated. He encouraged contractors to attend future summits, highlighting the event’s opportunities for networking and professional growth.
With its focus on collaboration and innovation, the summit reinforced METUS’s commitment to supporting independent HVAC contractors and driving success in the all-electric, all-climate heating and cooling sector.
