Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US Showcases New Heat Pump Technologies at AHR Expo 2026

Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC (METUS) is presenting a range of new all-electric, all-climate heat pump solutions and smart control systems at AHR Expo 2026, taking place February 2–4 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The lineup includes air-to-water systems, Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) units, and ducted and ductless heat pump technologies, covering both residential and commercial applications. Key highlights from METUS include new ecodan® and ecodan®Pro systems, expanded VRF offerings, and upgraded digital platforms for HVAC professionals.

The ecodan® single-phase air-to-water system delivers hydronic heating, cooling, and domestic hot water (DHW), offering an alternative to traditional boilers. The ecodan®Pro CAHV is a modular three-phase air-source heat pump using low-GWP refrigerant R454C, designed to deliver hot water up to 165°F (74°C) for multi-family, healthcare, and industrial facilities. METUS also previewed the upcoming ecodan®Pro e-Series Chiller/Heat Pump, a modular solution for commercial cooling and heating that supports scalable capacity and redundancy.

The company also introduced its X-Generation VRF systems, offering heating and cooling for up to 50 zones, with unit capacities from 6 to 32 tons. Other residential and commercial solutions on display include the SMART MULTI™ multi-zone heat pump with up to 10 tons of capacity, and intelli-AIR™ ducted systems designed to integrate with existing ductwork.

Control innovations include the launch of The Comfort app, which replaces kumo cloud® and supports seasonal scheduling and direct contractor communication. METUS also debuted MitsubishiPro.com, a new technical platform for HVAC professionals featuring Parts Explorer and design tools.

METUS Senior Director of Product Management Mitul Patel will present at the session “Any Building. Any Climate. A Heat Pump for Any Application.” on February 2, highlighting new low-GWP systems and next-gen platforms.

“Innovation drives everything we do, and AHR Expo is the perfect stage to showcase what’s next,” said Mark Kuntz, Chief Executive Officer of METUS.
