MSA Safety, Inc. will present its latest refrigerant management and monitoring solutions at the upcoming AHR Expo, taking place February 2–4 in Las Vegas. In response to evolving HVAC-R regulations, the company aims to support businesses with tools that address compliance, efficiency, safety, and profitability.
Among the highlighted technologies are the new MSA Bacharach® X30 and X50 Refrigerant Monitors. These devices are designed for simplified installation or integration into existing systems, helping users maintain regulatory compliance across a range of HVAC-R applications.
MSA will also feature the MSA Bacharach® Multi-Zone Gas Monitor and the MSA Chillgard® 5000 Refrigerant Leak Monitor. Both systems offer low-level leak detection, capable of monitoring up to 16 zones and detecting more than 60 refrigerants at concentrations as low as 1 ppm.
Other showcased solutions include the Parasense Refrigerant Tracking & Compliance Software, developed to support users with refrigerant reporting, maintenance cost reduction, and sustainability efforts. Additionally, MSA's FieldServer Protocol Gateways, compatible with over 140 communication protocols such as BACnet, KNX, and ModBus, enable secure IIoT connectivity and data exchange across HVAC-R systems.
"By combining MSA Safety's end-to-end detection solutions and software with our expertise with automatic leak detection, we empower customers to operate more efficiently, help streamline compliance, and maximize their return on investment," said Rob Senko, MSA Safety Global Business Leader for HVAC-R.
Visitors to the Expo can learn more during a presentation by Victoria Vernacchio, MSA Safety HVAC-R Fixed Detection Product Line Manager, on Tuesday, February 3 at 11:45 a.m. in the AHR Expo New Product Theater C. The session will cover the new Bacharach monitors and advanced sensing strategies for detecting R-Gases, A2Ls, and CO2.
