Panasonic highlights sustainable Cold Chain solutions at ATMOsphere Europe 2021

Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions is delighted to be returning as Silver Sponsor at ATMOsphere Europe 2021, 28th - 29th September. Organised by Shecco, ATMOsphere Europe has become the forum to discuss and drive the business case for Natural Refrigerants.

Over the two-day event, Panasonic will highlight solutions that support a sustainable cold chain, particularly focusing on its CR Series of CO2 Condensing Units which deliver reliable and sustainable refrigeration that is safe, uses patent-free available refrigerant. The solution utilises naturally occurring CO2 which has a low Ozone Depletion Level (ODL) of 0 and Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 1, reducing harmful impact on the environment. The Panasonic CR Series is ideal for use in applications such as supermarkets, gas-stations, cafeterias, cold rooms in hotels and restaurants, and for industrial process refrigeration needs such as food and medical, and more. Panasonic will also present a portfolio of case studies from the food retail and health care sectors to demonstrate its impressive series in action.

“We’re excited to be back at ATMOsphere Europe and reach a global audience virtually,” comments Benjamin Tissot, Key Account Manager CO2 Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions. “With over 20 years’ experience in this area, we value the benefits of the natural gas CO₂ thanks to its low GWP. This also aligns with our Environmental Vision 2050, a commitment to reduce the amount of energy used and utilise clean energy. It promotes a reduction in the global warming impact of cold chain solutions within commercial refrigeration, which is essential for securing a more sustainable future for the retail market.”
