Refrigera 2025 expands with record exhibitor numbers in Italy

The 2025 edition of Refrigera, the international refrigeration trade show organized by A151 srl, will take place at BolognaFiere, Italy, from November 5 to 7. The event is set to surpass previous records in terms of exhibition space and international participation.

With over 5,000 net square meters already confirmed—an increase of 12% from the last edition—more than 260 exhibitors from 25 countries have registered. Confirmed countries include Belgium, China, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, and Turkey.

Refrigera 2025 will feature the full spectrum of the refrigeration supply chain, targeting professionals from industrial, commercial, and logistics sectors. Attendees are expected to include specialists in food production and distribution, transportation and logistics, system designers, and representatives from major retail and distribution companies.

A key feature of this year’s show is Surgela-Freezing Tech, a dedicated zone highlighting technologies and systems for frozen food production, processing, and storage. This includes equipment for pre-treatment, packaging, and preservation, as well as related materials and services.

Around 50 conference sessions are planned, including the opening event titled “Sustainability: Refrigeration at the Core,” organized by ZeroSottoZero magazine in collaboration with Refrigera and Assofrigoristi. Speakers will include Marco Nocivelli, Vice President of Confindustria and CEO of Epta; Mario Tozzi, CNR senior researcher; and Maurizio Martina, Deputy Director of FAO Italy. The session will be moderated by Marco Oldrati, COO of Assofrigoristi.

The event is held in partnership with associations including Assofrigoristi, Asercom, Assogastecnici, ATF, Centro Studi Galileo, CNOS-FAP Salesiani Don Bosco, Legambiente, and OITAf. It is supported by ICE – the Italian Trade & Investment Agency and the Emilia-Romagna Region.

“After the great success of the 2023 edition, the strong participation already confirmed for 2025 reinforces Refrigera’s growth as the benchmark trade show for all industry operators,” said Marco Pinetti, Director of A151 srl.
