Description
At the end of 2020, INGENIUM designed and installed a transcritical CO2 system at the Distribution Center for the SPAR in Chelyabinsk.
The system using a natural refrigerant is more efficient for cold supply of a low-temperature warehouse in comparison with freon counterparts.
The warehouse area was about 4300 m², and the area of low-temperature storage rooms was 3100 m². A transcritical CO2 system was designed and installed and a soil protection system from freezing was applied for the low-temperature chamber.
The refrigeration system uses the natural refrigerant CO2, as it is an eco- friendly and energy efficient refrigerant with low cost.
