Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc. has reached the final stage of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Residential Cold Climate Heat Pump Technology Challenge. This advancement follows successful field tests and highlights Daikin’s focus on innovative, energy-efficient electric heating solutions.
The challenge, initiated in 2021, seeks to engage manufacturers and stakeholders in creating heat pump technology that efficiently operates in extreme winter conditions. Daikin’s low Global Warming Potential (GWP) R-32 inverter heat pumps align with this initiative, aiming for deployment across U.S. and Canadian climate zones.
