eurammon Holds Student’s Day 2026 in Belgium

Students explored natural refrigerant technologies, refrigeration labs and manufacturing processes alongside industry experts.

eurammon Holds Student’s Day 2026 in Belgium

eurammon held its annual Student’s Day on 22 April 2026 at Hogeschool UCLL in Belgium, bringing together students and industry experts in industrial refrigeration. The event focused on cooling solutions with natural refrigerants and presented applications, technical approaches and career opportunities in the sector.

The programme opened with a welcome from Floor Ummels of UCLL and Rob Vandenboer of eurammon e.V. Expert presentations from eurammon member companies covered industrial cooling with natural refrigerants, advanced refrigeration system design, lubricants and plate heat exchangers.

Participants also joined guided tours of refrigeration laboratories at UCLL’s Houthalen and Diepenbeek campuses. The tours provided insight into training programmes for bachelor’s and master’s students.

In the afternoon, participants visited EVAPCO Europe in Tongeren. Further presentations covered compressors for natural refrigerant applications, as well as industrial cooling and condensing systems. A factory tour showed manufacturing processes for EVAPCO products.

eurammon thanked Hogeschool UCLL for hosting the event, EVAPCO Europe for the site visit, the participating students and speakers from its member companies for technical contributions linking theory with practice in industrial refrigeration.
