ebm-papst boosts RadiPac C 630 airflow by up to 30%

ebm-papst has expanded its RadiPac series with the RadiPac C 630, combining a size 214 EC motor with 8 kW (approx. 10.7 hp) electronics. The fan delivers up to 30% more airflow than a motor of size 150 while retaining the same dimensions.

Designed for air handling units and fan wall systems in data centers, the RadiPac C 630 provides an airflow rate of more than 25,000 m³/h (approx. 14,700 cfm) in free-discharge mode. The higher power density enables increased airflow without changes to existing equipment platforms.

The fan uses a spider-frame design and is supplied as a complete, ready-to-install system without requiring complex floor installation. It can be integrated into FanGrid systems, AHUs, data center cooling systems, and industrial air-conditioning and cooling applications.

The modular EC motor supports 0–10 VDC and MODBUS-RTU control methods, as well as additional functions such as resonance monitoring. An optional three-phase active power factor correction system addresses power-quality requirements and supports stable, efficient parallel operation of multiple fans.

According to ebm-papst, the new motor size is intended to meet demand for fans that combine higher performance with flexible integration, helping system integrators increase airflow within limited installation space.
