Trane Technologies and its Thermo King brand have completed the acquisition of Thermo King Midwest, a Top 10 Thermo King dealer in North America. The transaction expands Thermo King’s company-owned dealer network and its service presence across the US Midwest.
Thermo King Midwest has been an exclusive Thermo King equipment dealer for nearly 70 years. It provides sales, installation and after-sales service for refrigeration units and accessories, as well as maintenance contracts and telematics solutions.
The dealership has approximately 150 employees across nine full-service locations in Indiana, Missouri and Ohio. It will join Trane Technologies’ Thermo King business in the Americas, continue serving its existing markets and operate as a company-owned dealership.
The acquisition makes Thermo King Midwest the second company-owned Thermo King dealership in the Americas. Thermo King said its independent dealer network remains a critical part of serving customers across the region.
