Vertiv announced an agreement to acquire King Environmental Services Ltd. (KES), a Europe-based provider of fluid management, commissioning and load-testing services for high-density, liquid-cooled data centers. The deal is intended to expand Vertiv’s thermal management services across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
KES provides fluid-system preparation, flushing, filtration, water treatment, commissioning and performance validation. Its services also include thermal load testing for liquid cooling infrastructure and electrical load testing for critical power systems, giving Vertiv additional field capabilities for commissioning and operating high-density infrastructure.
The acquisition would add EMEA execution capacity to Vertiv’s existing fluid management activities in North America. Vertiv acquired PurgeRite in December 2025, establishing a North American platform for fluid management services. KES would extend that model with regional field teams, load-testing expertise and operating infrastructure in Europe.
Fluid quality is a key operating factor in liquid cooling systems used for high-performance computing and AI workloads. Contamination, trapped air, corrosion, incorrect chemistry and flow imbalances can reduce heat-transfer efficiency and create commissioning or operational risks. KES’s service scope covers system preparation, performance validation, monitoring, maintenance and lifecycle fluid management intended to support system availability and equipment operation.
KES is headquartered near Dublin, Ireland, and serves customers across the EMEA region. Vertiv expects the transaction to close in the fourth quarter of 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the acquisition is not expected to be material to Vertiv’s financial results.
