The XVIII Ibero-American Congress on Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (CIAR 2026) will take place on 5–7 May 2026 at Paseo La Galería in Asunción, Paraguay, bringing together HVACR engineers, technicians, contractors, distributors, and industry professionals from across Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula.
The three-day event combines a technical congress with an exhibition. Expo admission is free with prior registration; congress registration is priced at USD 35 for non-members and USD 30 for CAPAREV members, with a reduced rate of USD 15 for students. All congress registrations include a virtual attendance certificate.
The programme covers efficiency, sustainability, and applied technology in HVACR systems, with more than 25 international speakers and panellists confirmed. A gala dinner is scheduled for the evening of 6 May at CASA 1927 in Asunción (USD 45, separate registration required). The congress has received declarations of interest from Paraguay's Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development and the National Tourism Secretariat.
The event is organised by CAPAREV and is aimed at refrigeration and HVACR professionals operating in Latin America who want direct access to technical sessions, regional industry contacts, and the exhibition floor.
