On April 5th 2022, the European Commission published a proposal for a major revision of the 2014 EU F-Gas Regulation. The proposal includes many changes from the current Regulation including a significant acceleration to the HFC phase-down process and a number of new bans on RACHP products.
It is expected that a revised Regulation will be agreed during 2023 and come into force in January 2024. This presentation provides a detailed review of the proposed changes to the Regulation and also outlines the next steps in the revision process.
