BAC will showcase adiabatic, evaporative, dry and immersion cooling technologies for industrial refrigeration, process cooling and data centers at Chillventa 2026, including a case showing that an adiabatic condenser can pay back in less than 1.5 years through lower compressor energy consumption. Finned-tube heat exchangers for natural refrigerants from BAC subsidiary Eurocoil complete the display on the neighbouring stand.
The TrilliumSeries adiabatic unit on display combines EC fans, BAC-manufactured coils and intelligent controls with several control strategies covering free cooling, adiabatic operation and basin water quality when water is recirculated. Critical components are accessible from outside the unit, and the design is available as a cooler (TRF) and a condenser (TRC). The payback case compares adiabatic and dry condenser options by their impact on the complete refrigeration system and total cost of ownership, not by condenser investment alone.
The heat rejection line-up also includes a dry cooler with a double-stack coil and fan design for high capacity in a compact footprint, multiple coil circuiting to limit pumping energy and individual fan motors for backup capacity. The Polairis PLC3 evaporative condenser features the DiamondClear design, high-efficiency drift eliminators and a choice of fan motor technologies. The MATRXDRIVE direct-drive fan array for FXVS closed-circuit cooling towers and CXVS evaporative condensers replaces the belt drive with permanent magnet motors and is also available as an upgrade for installed FXV, FXVE, CXV and CXVE units.
For data centers, the COBALT immersion cooling system pairs indoor immersion tanks with BAC outdoor heat rejection equipment. Patented CorTex technology removes server heat using a dielectric fluid, while the outdoor equipment can be adapted to different climate, energy and water requirements.
Eurocoil, part of BAC since 2021, will present finned-tube heat exchangers with 5 mm, 7 mm, 7.94 mm, 9.52 mm and 12 mm tubes in copper, with stainless steel available for 12 mm. The coils support natural refrigerants including R290, CO2 and ammonia, as well as other flammable and toxic fluids, for heat pumps, data centers, industrial refrigeration and water-based HVAC systems. Versions with Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) Category I and II certification are available. BAC exhibits in Hall 4 at Stand 4-323, with Eurocoil next door at Stand 4-317.
