Bereva Collaborates with Frascold for Refrigeration Innovation

Bereva, a Veneto-based startup, has partnered with Frascold to enhance its innovative refrigeration technology testing capabilities. Using Frascold's MAG compressors, Bereva's advanced research laboratory, BerevaLab, simulates real-world conditions to test its smart refrigeration valves.

The state-of-the-art BerevaLab focuses on validating components and systems by utilizing Frascold’s Magnetic series compressors. These compressors meet BerevaLab's needs by offering precise load regulation, operational flexibility with various refrigerants, and energy efficiency. The compressor integrates advanced technology, such as a two-level Vi control system and a synchronous motor with permanent magnets.

The collaboration has facilitated the successful testing of Bereva's xBALL series, a new line of smart valves, designed for cooling capacities of up to 2MW. The motorized xBALL valves promise in-line tightness and a 5-year warranty. They provide precise control via feedback signals.

“In our lab, performance is crucial, and thanks to Frascold's advanced technologies, we’ve been able to effectively test our valves, accelerating the innovation process,” says Davide Elardo, Managing Director of Bereva.

“The collaboration with Bereva reflects a shared vision: innovation takes shape more effectively when open dialogue and collaboration are encouraged,” states Giovanni Gonzato, Sales Manager for Northeastern Italy at Frascold.
