Carrier Transicold Presents New Truck Refrigeration Technology at Indonesia Cold Chain Expo
Carrier Transicold, together with its authorized Indonesian distributor since 2023 PT. Midthern Technologies, recently presented its innovative transport refrigeration solutions at the Indonesia Cold Chain Expo in Jakarta.

“The Indonesian cold chain segment has major growth potential,” said Cynthia Lu, Managing Director of Carrier Transicold Asia Pacific, during a keynote speech on the role of technology in food logistics. “Carrier Transicold is excited to deliver on new technology trends in cold chain logistics, including electrification, digitalization and sustainability.”

More than 10,000 visitors and exhibitors, including the Indonesian Cold Chain Association, the Indonesian Logistics Association, the Fisheries Association, and the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing delegation, as well as cold chain equipment manufacturers and cold chain logistics companies in Asia, participated in the exhibition.

Carrier Transicold displayed its truck refrigeration units and a new high-efficiency series for both inner and intercity cold chain deliveries. Products on display included:
  • The Citimax 280 thin version for minivan cold chain delivery.
  • The Citimax 1100 developed for heavy-duty refrigerated trucks with high-roof cabs.
  • The Supra 1250 with superior performance, robust design and large cooling capacity.
  • The Supra A series offering more precise temperature control for temperature-sensitive perishables, with high efficiency, reduced carbon emissions and lower fuel consumption.
These models deliver reliable quality, strong cooling and accurate temperature control for light-duty and heavy-duty trucks.

Along with Indonesia’s fast-growing food and pharmaceutical industries, the rise of e-commerce is creating increased demand for cold chain logistics, and the industry is challenged with fulfilling these needs.

“Carrier Transicold continues to strive for excellence with the development of energy-saving, environmentally sustainable technologies with low greenhouse gas and noise emissions,” said Lu. “These advanced cold chain solutions will continue to aid in the development of the Indonesian cold chain industry, as well as provide solutions for people and the planet.”
