Carrier Transicold has completed a large-scale training program for service technicians in Latin America and the United States, focusing on its OptimaLINE refrigerated container units. Nearly 375 professionals from more than a dozen countries participated, making it one of the company’s largest technician-focused initiatives in the region. Carrier Transicold is part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR).
The hybrid program connected service centers across the Americas for in-depth instruction on OptimaLINE technology. Training modules addressed component design, unit operation, servicing procedures and integration of digital tools.
The initiative coincided with a milestone for Carrier Transicold, as global sales of OptimaLINE units have surpassed 20,000 units, reflecting increased demand in cold chain logistics.
The company continues to hold in-person and virtual training workshops at least twice a month to maintain technical proficiency among employees and partners.
“By bringing together our service technicians from across the Americas, we were able to deliver practical and in-depth training on OptimaLINE’s components and serviceability,” said Nelson Morales, Manager, Field Service, Carrier Transicold. “These trainings are critical in equipping our network with the skills and confidence to support customers with reliability and precision within the region.”
