Charger Logistics Inc. recognized as a Certified Cold Carrier

The International Refrigerated Transportation Association (IRTA), a core partner of the Global Cold Chain Alliance, announce that Charger Logistics Inc. is now a Certified Cold Carrier.

The Cold Carrier Certification recognizes cold carrier companies that comply with the IRTA Refrigerated Transportation Best Practices Guide. This guide was published to provide guidance to companies on the US Food and Drug Administration's rule for the Sanitary Transportation of Human and Animal Food. The certification program is valid for three years and allows companies to:
- Demonstrate their commitment to the sanitary transportation of food
- Differentiate their organization from its competitors as an industry leader
- Show dedication to furthering the transportation and supply chain industries

"We are proud to welcome Charger Logistics to the Certified Cold Carrier Program,” says GCCA President and CEO Corey Rosenbusch, CAE, IOM. “By earning this first-of-its-kind certification, Charger Logistics Inc. differentiates itself from its competitors and shows its dedication to best practices in keeping food safe during transport.”
