Emerson’s Oversight Platform for cold chain adds Single Sign-on Feature

Cloud-based online portal and app provide easy access to in-transit shipment data collected for the perishable cold chain

Emerson announced  the release of a single sign-on feature for its cloud-based online Oversight software platform, which is used for tracking in-transit temperature shipment data from its GO Wireless Loggers, GO NFC (near-field) Loggers and GO Real-Time Trackers. This latest innovation makes it easier for grower/shippers, third-party logistics companies, retailers, foodservice and life sciences companies to access critical cold chain data from a central location.

With the new single sign-on, users can enter a set of credentials to log in via one URL and view logger and tracker data on the cloud-based Oversight platform. This information can be accessed either via desktop or mobile application. The logger and tracker interface provides a consistent user experience and improved functionality. Users can view their in-transit shipment in real time (in the case of the trackers), or when a product reaches its destination (via the loggers), for time and temperature data, to view alerts, and to export the information. Additionally, customers can integrate their logger or tracker data from the Oversight software platform into their own platform, enabling an even more streamlined process for monitoring shipments.

“Having robust automated reporting, real-time alert information and historical data empowers our customers to make valuable business decisions,” said Juliette Giles, senior product manager, software & services, cargo for Emerson’s cold chain business. “This single sign-on platform is intuitive and user-friendly. Our customers appreciate a centralized platform where they can access all of their cold chain data.”
