FSDF Welcomes Culina Group into Membership

Culina Group, the market leading chilled and ambient food and drink logistics provider, has become the latest company to join the Food Storage and Distribution Federation (FSDF).

FSDF is the voice of the UK cold chain, representing businesses that operate temperature-controlled storage and distribution facilities.

FSDF Chief Executive Shane Brennan said: “We are delighted to bring a company of the size and market-defining impact of Culina Group into our membership. Our industry is in the midst of exciting and dramatic change. We face significant challenges, especially to bear down on the environmental impact of our operations, whilst continuing to deliver one of the safest, most reliable food supply chains in the world. Culina Group has been instrumental in the success of the UK cold chain for more than 25 years and there is much we can learn from them.

"2019 is a year of major change for our Federation and Culina Group joining at this time is a big vote of confidence in our future plans.”

Culina Group CEO, Thomas van Mourik said: “I feel it is very important that Culina Group continues to expand its role in shaping the future of the food and drink logistics marketplace and our membership with the FSDF will enable us to do this. Both the FSDF and Culina Group share the same values, which is why this relationship is such a good fit.

The FSDF will be unveiling its new strategy and future plans at the TCS&D exhibition in Peterborough on the 25th June 2019.
