NewCold Doubles Capacity at Lebanon Facility with Major Expansion
NewCold has completed the second phase of its Lebanon, Indiana, warehouse, doubling capacity and transforming it into one of the largest and most advanced cold storage facilities globally. This $300 million investment adds 100,000 pallet positions, bringing the total to over 200,000, significantly enhancing the efficiency and resilience of the food supply chain.

The facility is equipped with advanced automation and proprietary technology, boosting operational efficiency and sustainability. Energy efficiency has been improved by approximately 50% compared to traditional cold storage warehouses. The site operates 24/7 and is designed to achieve greater energy independence by incorporating renewable energy sources.

The expansion is also expected to provide substantial economic benefits to the region, creating high-quality jobs for Indiana residents and strengthening the local economy.

NewCold remains focused on continuous improvement and is evaluating further innovations at the Lebanon site to meet the evolving needs of its customers while promoting sustainability and technological advancement in the cold storage industry.
