NewCold has officially opened a fully automated cold storage facility in Nowy Modlin, Poland, expanding its presence in Central and Eastern Europe. The new site adds over 95,000 pallet positions to NewCold’s capacity, bringing its total in Poland to 207,200 pallet positions.
The 27,000 m² facility was developed in partnership with construction firm Atlas Ward Polska and design consultancy Arcadis. It features proprietary NewCold software that integrates with customer ERP systems to ensure operational visibility, traceability, and scalability.
The warehouse is described as one of the most advanced automated facilities globally, focusing on energy efficiency and sustainable logistics. The €112 million investment is expected to create up to 140 jobs.
